Catalonia activates Inuncat flood alert and suspends school in four regions

Catalonia is preparing for an incoming weather front forecast to bring widespread and intense rainfall across the region. In response to the meteorological outlook from Meteocat, Proteccio Civil has placed the territory on alert under the Inuncat flood emergency plan.

As a preventive measure, authorities have suspended all school classes for Wednesday across four comarcas: Baix Llobregat, Valles Occidental, Garraf, and Penedes. Emergency services continue to monitor the evolution of the storms across the territory.
