Hosted by Claudia Winkleman at Ardross Castle in Ross-shire, the series gathers 21 celebrity contestants competing to raise up to £100,000 for their chosen charities. During the opening challenges, the group added £15,000 to the charity prize fund, while actor Julie Hesmondhalgh and comedian Joe Lycett won shields providing immunity from the first murder. The first murder and traitor recruitment
Following their appointment, Jama and Grant were tasked with choosing between University Challenge host Amol Rajan and comedian James Acaster. The two candidates met the traitors in person to plead their cases before Rajan was murdered and Acaster was recruited to complete the trio.
