Google unveils Pixel 11 lineup, Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Tag at Made by Google event

Pixel 11 phones arrive with €100 price hike

Google unveiled its autumn 2026 phone lineup at the Made by Google event on August 12: the Pixel 11 (€999), Pixel 11 Pro (€1,199) and Pixel 11 Pro XL (€1,399). All three models now start at 256GB of storage, with 12GB RAM on the base model and 16GB on the Pro variants. The €100 increase across the line comes amid what one source describes as a crisis in memory and RAM components. The phones are powered by the new Tensor G6 chip, which Google says delivers 25% faster web browsing and 15% faster app opening.

The Pixel 11 Pro starts at €1,199 for 256GB and 12GB RAM, rising to €1,329 for 512GB and 16GB RAM, and €1,589 for 1TB and 16GB RAM. In the US, the Pixel 11 Pro costs $1,099 and the Pro XL $1,299. Amazon is offering a free $200 gift card with pre-orders through August 27, plus up to $600 in trade-in credit. Phones ship on August 20.

Cameras and display upgrades

The Pixel 11 features a 6.3-inch OLED Actua display with 1080x2424 resolution, a variable 60-120Hz refresh rate and 3,000-nit peak brightness, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Pro models can drop the refresh rate to 1Hz for always-on display efficiency. The Pro XL has a 6.8-inch screen.

A new 48MP camera sensor with ƒ/1.70 aperture captures 56% more light than the Pixel 10, according to Google. The 13MP wide-angle and 5x telephoto lenses carry over on the base model. The telephoto sensor on Pro models captures 30% more light. A new Pixel HiLight, an ambient RGB LED array around the rear camera, signals incoming calls and activates during Gemini interactions. The phones offer 120X Pro Zoom and a Magic Capture feature that automatically edits and crops photos.

Charging reaches 25W on all models. With a 45W charger, the Pro XL reaches 75% in 30 minutes, while the Pixel 11 and 11 Pro reach 55% in the same time.

Pixel Watch 5 and Pixel Tag

The Pixel Watch 5 comes in 41mm and 45mm sizes with the Actua 360 dome display at 3,000 nits and up to 40 hours of battery life. It runs on the Snapdragon W5 Gen 2 chip with more RAM and integrates Gemini Intelligence for proactive assistance. New Health Guardian functions include breathing and insulin monitoring. In Spain, the Bluetooth versions cost €419 (41mm) and €449 (45mm), with LTE variants at €519 and €549. In Italy, pricing starts at €419. The watch works with Android 12 and later, excluding Android Go. Google also introduced the Pixel Tag, a location tracker competing with Apple's AirTag.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 updates and the Fold question

Google added an olive green colorway to the Pixel Buds Pro 2, available for pre-order from August 12 at €249. Software updates rolling out in September will bring four features to Buds Pro 2 and Buds 2a: dynamic noise cancellation that adjusts for seal changes, Gemini voice control for audio settings, sleep sync with the Pixel Watch that disables touch controls and silences notifications, and live translation triggered by tapping the earbud, supporting nearly 70 languages without needing a phone. No Pixel Buds Pro 3 was announced.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold was unveiled but will not be sold in Spain or Italy. It is roughly 10% lighter and about 1mm thinner than the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, with a glass fiber composite back and a gearless hinge. Google says the design makes the phone three times more durable than the previous generation, with an improved screen crease from a larger curvature radius and thicker inner glass.
