Emergency mobilization and access operations
A deployment of 350 firefighters, 30 gendarmes, and 100 emergency vehicles remained mobilized across the sector on Saturday. Aerial operations included two Dash water-bombing planes, two Canadair aircraft, and two helicopters carrying out drops on inaccessible sectors. I saw the fire, the smoke, and I went up with the firefighters to see if it was bad. I am a farmer just below, and so I want to see if the fire is not coming down to see if I need to evacuate my cows or not.
