The Senate voted 59-25 to confirm Sylwia Gregorczyk-Abram, clearing the final hurdle for the lawyer and rights activist to become Poland's next Commissioner for Human Rights. She replaces Prof. Marcin Wiącek, whose five-year term expires on 23 July.
