Rescuers recover body of climber Nirmal Purja on Broad Peak; three others found after avalanche killed 10
The Alpine Club of Pakistan announced Sunday that rescuers located the body of British-Nepali mountaineer Nirmal Purja at roughly 5,700 metres on Broad Peak, days after an avalanche killed all 10 members of his expedition.

Dawa Sherpa, 57, was found crawling near Everest base camp on 4 June, six days after his oxygen ran out during a descent from the summit. He survived by chewing ice and eating a few chocolates found in his pocket.
