Mikołaj W., 30, was detained around 3 a.m. at the Kołbaskowo crossing as he tried to leave Poland. He is accused of striking a 31-year-old pedestrian on a marked crosswalk in Suwałki on the night of July 25-26 and fleeing the scene.
