Greece lifts sailing bans for Rafina and Lavrio as gale-force winds ease; Piraeus departures resume after day of cancellations
The Hellenic Coast Guard lifted departure bans at the ports of Rafina and Lavrio at 19:00 on Friday, after earlier suspending all sailings because of northerly winds reaching 9 Beaufort in the Aegean. Piraeus operated at captains' discretion throughout the day, with some cancellations.
