    Castellón wildfire stabilized after seven days, 9,568 hectares burned and all evacuees return

    The forest fire that broke out on 25 July near Vall d'Uixó was declared stabilized on Friday afternoon, with a perimeter of 89 km and 9,568 hectares burnt. The last 2,800 evacuees from Artana and Eslida are now returning home, while authorities warn that hot spots remain and the blaze is neither controlled nor extinguished.
