Pakistan suspends Imran Khan's provincial government as protests turn violent
Pakistan's president declared an emergency in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Sunday, 11 October, suspending the PTI-led provincial government. On Tuesday, 13 October, clashes with police in Bara and Peshawar left protesters with bullet injuries, and government buildings were set alight.
