Saarland hunters cull record 12,500 roe deer in past hunting year, wild boar numbers also rise
The Saarland Hunting Association reported a record bag of over 12,500 roe deer for the hunting year ending 31 March, the sixth consecutive year above 12,000. Wild boar culls rose to nearly 8,800, the fourth-highest on record, amid African swine fever concerns.
